Kelley and Tracy are twin sisters located in Omaha Nebraska.
Kelley has a background in elementary education, with a minor in early childhood development and also software development. Combining these backgrounds of working with children, teaching, and also the technical side of digital photography was a perfect fit. She was able to utilize all her past experiences together as a newborn photographer and a teacher to other photographers. After many years of mentoring one-on-one, Kelley knew that once her studio was completed on her acreage that a bigger class size was the next step. Their first Baby Posing class was held in January of 2009, and has been a great success to this day. They feel honored to teach to photographers from all around the world.
Tracy began her photography career while helping her sister on more sessions than can be counted! After working together for many years and doing all ages, their focus became clear to stick with newborn custom portraiture. There was a challenge with newborns that pushed them each and every session to get better. Tracy has a great eye for set-up and a handy knack for making many of the handmade props used in their photography. She had a crafty thumb at a very young age and owned her first sewing machine at the age of 10! She is meticulous in posing and getting every little finger and toe perfectly in place. Her attention to detail is present in every session with every newborn.
Kelley and Tracy have been photographing newborns exclusively since 2007… Kelley adding to this duo her technical camera skills and comforting of the newborns, and Tracy adding to the team her handmade crafts, perfect posing and great set-ups. They are thankful to be able to work together and create such wonderful images for their clients and as a bonus have so much fun playing together. They have a love for newborn art and find great joy in teaching. They look forward to every class to teach great camera technique, using natural light, creating great set-ups, working with newborns, and Photoshop technique. For great newborn images, all five things need to come together and this is the focus of every minute at class!
