Tracy and I will be on location with Beth Jansen (www.bethjansenphotography.com) for a two day workshop focusing on newborns AND Beth Jansen style children’s portraiture!

tuition | $2100 US due 2 months prior to class by either credit card thru PayPal, or check sent to Beth Jansen. A $400 deposit is required to reserve your spot.
schedule | The class will be divided in two groups (15 max per group), with each group spending on day with Tracy and I and one day with Beth Jansen. Tracy and I will teach a one day newborn workshop to each group with the following schedule: meet at 8:30 am in studio, set up for 30 minutes, first model at 9 am (bean bag posing), second model at 11:30 am (prop, handheld and hanging shots), break for lunch from 1:30 to 2 pm, then 2 pm to 5:00 pm digital workflow. Individual guidance offered after 5 pm. Beth will host a one day workshop each day focusing on creativity and inspiration, lighting, manual shooting indoors and in urban and rural settings, styling of clients, and marketing techniques. This day will begin at 8:30 am at the studio, photographing child models in both urban and rural settings in the morning, then breaking for lunch with the whole group and finishing the day on marketing and Photoshop technique. Individual guidance also offered with Beth after 5 pm.
what to bring | ALL of your camera equipment, and laptops with Photoshop CS3 or higher.
cancellation fee | once payment has been made, fee to cancel will be $300 US. If cancellation is made 2 weeks prior to the class date, fee is 50% of total class cost.
portfolio | photographers will take images from each day, both newborn and child set-ups, to be used to further promote their photography business and newborn and child portfolios.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. Transportation will not be provided to the studio spot – HOWEVER, this is a downtown Oklahoma City location and one of the best hotels in OKC is within walking distance of the studio space (Skirvin Hilton, Oklahoma City). At this time, this workshop is not offered to Oklahoma residents within a 60 mile radius to Oklahoma City.
